Series Ventures (Co-CEOs Kwak Sung-wook and Park Jun-sang), a leading accelerator in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam (BUK) region, co-hosted ‘U-CONNECT X B-Vensday in BSW Bounce’ in collaboration with the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund and the Busan Metropolitan Government.
‘U-CONNECT X B-Vensday’ was an online and offline IR demo day held as part of ‘BSW Bounce 2021’, Busan Startup Week, jointly organized by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, the Busan Metropolitan Government, and Series Ventures. Busan Startup Week is an annual event designed to foster collaboration and networking between startups, investors, and accelerators while promoting the development of a sustainable global startup ecosystem.
To help participating startups strengthen their investment attraction capabilities, Series Ventures provided a special lecture on venture capital investment cases in the local market. The demo day that followed featured IR presentations from nine outstanding startups selected by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund from the BUK region, including:

The event was attended by 15 investment professionals from accelerators and venture capital firms, and evaluations were conducted both online and offline. Startups that received high scores in their IR presentations will be given opportunities for investment matching and funding connections with venture capital firms and other investors.

Now in its 22nd edition, B-Vensday stands for ‘Busan – Ventures Speech Day’ and aims to foster a healthy investment ecosystem, revitalize the local economy, and provide crucial funding opportunities for startups and SMEs struggling with financial constraints. Originally an exclusive IR event hosted by Series Ventures, B-Vensday gained recognition from the Busan Metropolitan Government, which later designated it as an official IR event for the city due to its success in facilitating investments.
