Core Mechanism

Core Mechanism

See how it works, from floor-plan parsing through route extraction, in an interactive simulator.

Floor Layout Parsing (Map Engine)

Parses DWG source files to identify wall geometry and walkable space, then converts them into a layout model for wayfinding.
CAD input → Wall detection → Walkable-surface extraction

3D Multi-Floor Route Generation (Routing Engine)

Builds a routing algorithm that dynamically routes around columns and structures, and automatically maps vertical connections between floors.
Obstacle node bypass → Vertical-route weighting → Real-time route completion

Place UID-Based Space Data Integration

Assigns a unique ID to each individual space, then combines store-level metadata and symbol mapping — sourced from Excel templates and dynamic API data — into one structure.
Place Area UID Setup → Standard Excel Upload → In-Map Detail Popup Binding

Operational Workflow

Implementation Workflow

A standardized, automated process combined with precise map review by GrowSpace's technical team completes your indoor map in the shortest possible time.

01. Create Project & Configure Building

Set the language scope for your guidance channels (up to 4 languages) and enter the exact geographic information for the deployment area. The building's precise scale and address are pre-linked into the CMS to prepare GrowSpace's technical team for design.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to the most common questions about deploying Grow Studio's indoor digital mapping technology.

Q. I only have a PDF floor plan — can it still be converted into a digital map?

Yes, it can. If you have the original CAD file (DWG, DXF), parsing can be automated fastest and most reliably, but with a PDF floor plan file, GrowSpace's technical team can still parse it into an indoor coordinate-aligned layout and convert it into a fully functional digital map.

Q. How long until I can see the first test map?

It varies by project scale and floor area, but after verifying the accuracy of the existing CAD drawing, a test digital map review can be delivered in as little as 1-2 days. From there, detailed place information and route-attribute data are aligned to quickly complete the final map.

Q. Once the map is built, who owns the data and the floor plan?

Full ownership and access rights to all completed indoor spatial database information and processed floor-plan data belong entirely to the client. You can use it permanently within a secure infrastructure, with no risk of data breach.

Q. How many languages are supported for international visitors?

Within a single map platform structure, up to 4 languages at once — including English, Chinese, and Japanese —can be deployed simultaneously, with one-stop automatic alignment to Google multilingual translation data.

Q. Can I get kiosk hardware bundled with the software map?

Yes. GrowSpace directly supplies large touchscreen digital kiosk hardware that syncs perfectly with the software map-engine layout, and to fit on-site offline conditions, it's also flexibly available through a convenient rental option. You can easily adopt a high-quality, all-in-one total package that integrates both software and hardware.
