This article introduces serial commands that let you directly check or modify key configuration values on the GrowSpace Gateway Q1 device, diagnose network errors, and check the MQTT server connection status. Connect to the device through a terminal (such as Tera Term) and enter the commands below for flexible on-site debugging.

restart

Immediately restarts the gateway. Use this to apply configuration changes right away.

basicSetting=

Sets MQTT, Wi-Fi, and PanID all at once. Enter the values in JSON format.

Notes

• Only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is supported (5GHz is not supported)
• Saved immediately upon input, followed by an automatic reboot

basicSetting?

Checks the currently saved MQTT, Wi-Fi, and PanID settings.

Network Configuration Commands

IP?

Checks the gateway’s current IP address.

IP?

Checks whether the network is connected.

Sets or checks the Wi-Fi SSID.

The device restarts automatically after input, and the reboot log is printed as well.

Sets or checks the Wi-Fi password.

Using the commands above, you can easily inspect the GrowSpace Gateway Q1 device’s configuration and quickly debug it to match on-site conditions.

After changing any setting, always run the restart command to restart the device and apply the change.
