A useful UWB development kit quotation starts with the experiment you need to run, the devices active at the same time and the way your software will receive positions. Add the destination, purchasing-document requirements and the tests needed for acceptance. Those details let a supplier quote a configuration and scope rather than guess from the phrase “one UWB kit.”
Use the RFQ structure below for an evaluation project or an initial deployment discussion. It intentionally leaves prices, freight, taxes and delivery commitments to the current written quotation.
Describe the decision the evaluation must support
Give the supplier a short operational description. “We need to determine whether we can identify the current work area of shared test equipment” is more informative than “We need accurate RTLS.” Include the proposed site type, movement pattern and any constraints on installation.

Explain what the team will build itself. Reading coordinates in a laboratory, integrating a stream into an existing application and purchasing an operated site solution are different scopes. If your team needs help beyond documented setup, ask for that assistance to appear as a separate quoted line or deliverable.
Define success in terms your team can observe. List the required data path, representative tag workload and intended test environment. Avoid treating a general product demonstration as acceptance evidence for your application.
List the configuration without copying an old price table
Use the current English Q1 kit page and Q1 documentation to identify the offered options. Confirm the final included items in the written quotation. Product references for this article were checked on 6 October 2026; they are not an offer or a reservation of stock.

| RFQ item | Detail to provide | Question for the supplier |
|---|---|---|
| Evaluation scope | Lab experiment, single-zone trial or broader site review | Which configuration matches this scope? |
| Tracked objects | Asset type and handling conditions | Which tag model and attachment method should be evaluated? |
| Tag quantity | Concurrent active quantity and separately requested spares | What update behavior is supported for this workload? |
| Data path | USB serial, MQTT, or both if required | Which devices and accessories are included for that path? |
| Computing environment | Intended host or server environment | Which current examples or interfaces apply? |
| Installation | Layout, power and approved network constraints | What site preparation remains the buyer’s responsibility? |
| Assistance | Setup guidance, integration work or site services needed | What is included, optional or outside scope? |
A development tag is not automatically the correct form factor for every operational asset. Ask about the exact model and its mounting and power arrangements. Likewise, confirm cables, brackets, power items and any separately required network equipment instead of assuming the illustrated setup equals the shipment.
Separate international-order questions from technical fit
Provide the destination country and city early. Share the final delivery address through the supplier’s approved ordering process when it is needed. Procurement can then request the applicable shipping method, cost, estimated dispatch and transit assumptions in writing.

Ask the supplier to specify:
- Quote validity, currency and the exact bill of materials
- Payment method and when payment becomes due
- Shipping terms, method and the party responsible for each charge
- How duties, taxes and other import costs are handled for this order
- Available product-specific radio or conformity documentation relevant to the destination
- Applicable warranty, return conditions and the procedure for service from overseas
- Documentation needed by your purchasing department, such as a pro forma invoice
These are questions to resolve, not universal terms. Import and radio requirements vary by jurisdiction and product configuration; have your procurement or compliance specialist verify what applies. A past shipment to another country does not establish eligibility or cost for yours.
If different sections of a public page give different commercial expectations, use a written clarification before issuing a purchase order. Do not build a project deadline around a promotional shipping statement.
A copyable RFQ for an evaluation team
Subject: UWB evaluation kit quotation for [project purpose] in [destination country]
We are evaluating indoor positioning for [asset or workflow]. Our initial test will cover [area or zone description], with [number] tags active at the same time and [number] separately requested spare tags.
We plan to receive position data through [USB serial/MQTT/required paths] and use it in [host or application environment]. Our team will handle [setup or software responsibilities]. We would like a separate scope and price for [specific assistance], if available.
The evaluation needs to establish [observable acceptance questions]. Relevant installation constraints are [mounting, power, network and environmental conditions]. Please identify the exact device models, supported configuration and documentation that apply.
The delivery destination is [country and city]. Our procurement team requires [documents or purchasing procedure]. Please quote the bill of materials, included accessories, currency, payment terms, shipping method and cost, expected timing, quote validity, and applicable warranty and return conditions.
Please also identify any unresolved assumptions and any items or services our team must supply separately.
Review the quotation against the original requirement
Before comparing totals, check that each supplier has quoted the same active tag quantity, data path, accessories and support scope. Keep evaluation hardware separate from later rollout assumptions.

If the quote omits an acceptance question, ask for clarification. For example, a gateway line item does not by itself describe the server application your team expects to receive. A training session does not establish ongoing support hours or response commitments.
Record what has been confirmed and what remains an assumption. Reconfirm material changes, such as a different tag model, shipping destination or integration scope, before accepting a revised quotation.
Preparing an overseas Q1 inquiry? Request a configuration quotation from GrowSpace. Send the evaluation purpose, concurrent tag count, data path and destination country first, then use the checklist to close the technical and commercial details.
